That doesn't mean that the courses are less professional, but more is indication of the low overhead business costs of such a place. Of course, to graduate you will need to do just as much work as you would do for college, but you aren't necessarily tied to a specific time. So you could stretch out a course if you are finding that it is difficult to make time, all you could shorten the course if you feel you could learn at a faster pace.
The versatility of the online colleges means that virtually all working people can make the required time, and can find the money for, to start virtually any qualification they wish to have, and now have a good possibility of completing with a certification of their choice. How would a new profession, or even the career you've always thought of, really feel to you? The change to your life, your family, even the city where you live could be very dramatic. Perhaps even for the longest time you now have a choice of what you do, and where you choose to do it. There is absolutely no need to be stuck in a place or position in life because of bad timing or the unfortunate circumstance of finances of years ago. Most certainly, it will not happen unless you make it happen.
